HCG DIET

What is hCG?

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone that is naturally produced in large quantities during pregnancy. After researching and perfecting the hCG protocol for about 20 years, Dr. ATW Simeons found that a particular 500-calorie diet, combined with small, regular doses of hCG, caused the body to release abnormal fat.

How long is the HCG Diet?

Depending on the desired level of weight loss, patients will either be placed on the 26-day diet plan (complete with 23 days worth of daily injections or sublingual drops to be taken twice per day) or the 43-day diet plan (including 40 days worth of daily injections or twice-daily drops). Both plans are followed by a three-week maintenance period. The HCG Diet Art Of Wellness approach favored by the staff and clients opts for the virtually pain-free self-given injections as superior to the sublingual drops.

What’s included in the HCG diet package?

You will meet with a diet counselor and physician to discuss your plan under the guidance of a premier Spring wellness center. Here we will explore your medical history, current medications and supplements, diet, overall lifestyle, Body Mass Index, and your goal weight. We will go over your HCG diet plan designed for you in detail. You will be given hCG medication, and lab work will be done if fasting. If not fasting, you will need to come back for labs at your earliest convenience; you will be given a copy of lab findings during one of your weekly weigh-ins. During the hCG phase of your diet, you will be given B12 shots at your weekly weigh-in. The knowledgeable staff that makes us one of the top wellness clinics in the area will be here for your support through all stages of your weight loss plan, should any questions or concerns arise.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

Daily weight loss can average between 1/2 and 1 lb. per day for area patients. Patients on the 23-day HCG diet plan can expect to lose up to 15 lbs, and patients on the HCG diet 40-day plan can expect to see a loss of up to 35 lbs., depending on how closely the diet is followed. Individual weight loss may vary.
